Hey, I’m Joel!
I’m a UK tattoo artist specializing in realism and portraits. My journey started when I left university to chase something more creative, landing an apprenticeship at Creative Chaos in Willenhall. That’s where I found my love for portrait tattoos, building on my fine art background.
Now, I’m at Good Soul Tattoo Studio in Birmingham, constantly sharpening my skills and perfecting lifelike black-and-grey tattoos. I’m lucky to work alongside amazing artists. Swing by—we’re just a minute from King’s Norton Train Station!

My full day rate is £400 with a small deposit required to hold your place in the studio for your session and your design. The cost of your tattoo depends on the size, complexity, and detail of the design. During your consultation, I will provide an estimate based on your specific design. I believe in transparent pricing, so there are no surprises.
We adhere to the highest hygiene standards, using sterilized equipment and single-use needles. Our studio is regularly cleaned and follows all local health regulations to ensure your safety and peace of mind at all times.
Before your session, make sure to stay hydrated and get a good night’s sleep. Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medications. Wear comfortable clothing and have a healthy breakfast and make sure to get some sugar in you. I can provide more detailed tattoo preparation guidelines during your consultation.
Proper aftercare is crucial for healing and maintaining the quality of your tattoo. We’ll provide you with detailed aftercare instructions, including how to clean and moisturize your tattoo and what activities to avoid. Follow these guidelines closely to ensure the best results
